Receipto uses a small number of cookies and similar storage (like your browser's local storage) to make the Service work. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell data to advertisers.

1. What we store and why

What	Purpose
Login session	Keeps you signed in on your devices so you don't have to log in on every visit. Without it, the app cannot remember who you are.
Preferences	Remembers choices like your language (Hindi/English), GST setting, and invoice preferences.
Offline app data	The app stores your shop's products, bills, and khata on your device so billing works without internet. This is functional app storage, not tracking.
Consent choice	Remembers whether you accepted or declined optional cookies, so we don't ask you again.

2. Third-party cookies

• Cloudflare Turnstile (the "verify you are human" checkbox on login) may set its own security cookies to tell humans and bots apart.
• Razorpay may set cookies on its own payment pages when you pay for a subscription.

These providers have their own cookie policies; we don't control their cookies.

3. Your choices

• When you first visit our site, a banner asks for your consent. You can accept or decline — strictly necessary storage (login session) is always needed for the app to work.
• You can clear cookies and site data anytime from your browser settings. Note: clearing them will sign you out and remove offline app data on that device.

4. Changes

If we start using new types of cookies, we will update this page and ask for your consent again where required.
